Can fatty liver disease be treated or reversed?

Lifestyle interventions (weight loss, healthy eating consistent with Canada’s Food Guide, physical activity) are the first‑line approach; certain medications are under study but not universally recommended.

Fasting plasma glucose is reported in mmol/L in Canada; diabetes is typically diagnosed at fasting glucose ≥7.0 mmol/L or random ≥11.1 mmol/L. Check Diabetes Canada guidance for targets.

Is Feel Great a treatment for fatty liver disease?

No — Feel Great is a lifestyle support system (soluble fibre matrix, Unimate, intermittent fasting protocol) and should be used with clinical care; it is not a medication.

How do I get tested or referred in my province?

Start with your family doctor or a walk‑in clinic. Ask about labs, FIB‑4, and whether a FibroScan or hepatology referral is indicated; provincial referral pathways vary.
